Vote For Wolfgang Books
and
Three Other End Of Summer Notes

1. Hipster Home has arrived at 237 Bridge Street. We are happy to welcome Dave and Lindsay as our downstairs neighbors, and we wish them great success and happiness with their new location. If you have yet to check them out, we enthusiastically encourage you to do so. You will encounter extraordinary customer service and many unique products, and we are thrilled to have them downstairs.

2. Voting has begun for the 2008 Edition of the Philly Hot List. If you are so inclined (and why wouldn’t you be), follow this link to the bookstore voting page and click the “Vote” button beneath our name. We appreciate your support, and we hope to successfully defend our “Best Bookstore” crown.

While your there vote for our downstairs neighbors, Hipster Home. They are also defending their 2007 title and are located in the shopping section of the contest.

3. The Literary Fiction Book Group meets on Thursday, August 14th at 7 p.m. and will discuss About a Boy by Nick Hornby. The Literary Fiction Book Group meets the second Thursday of every month at 7 p.m., and on September 11th, they will discuss The Yiddish Policemen’s Union by Michael Chabon.

4. This month, our New & Noteworthy table will feature Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer. The novel is the fourth installment in Meyer’s wildly popular Twilight Saga, and if you need to catch up, we also have the first three books in stock.

We hope that you enjoy the rest of your summer, and we’ll keep the air-conditioner running.
